First talk about differences. I think teachers in America are trying to creat more intersctions. For how to teach students the formula F=M*A, they'll probably ask students if anyone recognize this formula at the begining of the class; and after teaching, they might come to each student and make sure that each of them understand the comcept, or ask students to ask them questions (or the part of the concept they're confused of). However in China, especially in science class, there will always be teacher unilateral teaching, like, a physics teacher would say:"F is force, M is mass, amd A is acceleration...you should use this formula in this situation..." A physics teacher in China perhaps would hardly pause and ask if anyone has questions. He just keep speaking at all time. The seconed difference is, a American physics teacher may tell students a story or tale related to the formula, such as Newton sit under a apple tree while an apple falling on his head, to attract studends' atrention. Well, in China a physics teacher usually do experiments before writing the formula on the blackboard. Because experiment is very intersting and can help students figure out the formula and then easily remember it. So in that case, both of Chinese and Ameican education way is pretty good.

Another big difference is group discussion. American teachers always require students to discuss with groups. Also in physics class. After formula teaching, a American teacher possibly let students discuss in groups to share their ideas and understanding of the formula, or giving a few examples and let them work on with their group. But there're almost no group discussions in Chinese physics class. Students don't need to discuss with classmates, just follow the teacher and listen, listen how the teacher explain the formula and how the teacher work out those examples. There's less communication in Chinese physics class.

Thus, based on those differences, the advantages of each education system are obvious. American classes is more attractive, using intersting stories and examples to make students listen carefully and be interested of the concept. Its empathsis is students participation, which is very important because only students want to learn something, they can learn it well. And account of group discussion, students either share or hear ideas from other students, which can inspire themselves, to think diversity and deeply of the examples. What's more, a group of students also solve problems quickly than solving by themselves. As for Chinese education, firstly, students are always impressed by experiments. Its influnce is nearly same as stories. Students can remember the principle of the formula from the experiment. Additionally, without group discussion, students may concentrate on class well, though they don't have chance to express their
