Organizational politics is engaging in workplace behavior designed to fulfil one’s personal agenda. Organizational behavior is also the practice of engaging in activities that are not required as part of one’s official role in the organization in order to influence, or attempt to influence , the distribution of advantages and disadvantages in the organization (Mitchell, 2016)

Engaging in organizational politics if possible should be completely avoided because personally I think reward should be given to those that are excellent with their jobs and not by boycotting or engaging in organizational politics. In one way or another, we all engage in organizational politics. Politics has been in existence for a long time and it will continue to be in existence, it is used everywhere even in our schools, hospitals and most of the time in organizations. I must say in our world today, employees will rather get familiar with their boss so as to get rewards, incentives and information for their benefits.
