Introduction

We are pleased to submit our proposal to help your company to create an effective promotional advertisement for your upcoming perfume "Aroma". Our marketing department won Marketing Excellence Award winners 2016; it is a unique mark showing our excellence marketing planner, expertise and techniques. Having that said, every marketing activities that we worked on was a great success. This proposal will show you how we are going to help your company to promote your new launching perfume "Aroma" to achieve target sales.

Background, Problem and Purpose

Our objective is to increase our perfume`s brand-awareness and hoisting the company's reliability towards the customers to be steadfast in the market position and affirm our special scent and quality of the "Aroma". We understand that the company`s manager is planning to launch "Aroma" in the market early next year. We are pleased to inform you that our marketing department will help your company to compete with other perfume companies by solving the problem of propagation to the public. We decided to organise a roadshow in a shopping mall to display our new launching perfume by providing free sample testing and dispatch leaflets to customers, and we planned to launch it promptly by early February to coincide with a host of Malaysian festivals, starting with Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Hari Raya and Christmas, and it will do before a week of Malaysian festivals to attract more people to support our product and spread our news in advance.

Plan

Media kits

We will make a brochure or flyer and share it out to our customers, in order to encourage our loyal customers to participate in our referral programme in our shop and while doing the roadshow. Besides that, we intend to print a fact sheet to display in public that will ensure that our existing and potential clients can have a view of our product, as well as informing them of our new product promotion.

Target group

After we have conducted a thorough market survey, we found out perfume is a particularly popular youngster and adult which is the age range between 18 to 50 years old, and also the people within the upper-middle-class income range. Therefore, the advertisements that we plan to promote our product will be targeted a group of people who are within the age range 18 to 50 years old and also targeted the person who is financially capable of purchasing the perfume.

Free sample testing

To promote the perfume, we decided to hire 10 promoters to endorse the perfume in the roadshow by using a time and cost-saving methods which are we put some perfume on a paper stick, so every customer can try our free sample perfume. And as we preferring to hire adult, adolescence and teenager to promote our product, they can fully explain the uniqueness of our perfume because they are also in the age of started using perfume, so they can compare our product with other perfume companies. By doing the roadshow, we need transport to bring sample perfumes and perfume stocks to do promotion.

Social media

We also will spread our perfume product by posting it on Facebook and Youtube to send out the news speedily. And because once we post on Facebook and Youtube everyone can see the news rather than we spreading the news by paper one by one to the customer which is a high-cost, time-consuming and not effective, it is because nowadays people like to use social network instead of traditional multimedia due to the development of the cell phone and our quick pace of life. We would make a video to explain our product and introduce our company, and also doing some promotional activities on Facebook such as the buy 4 free 1 activities.
